This award winning Bed and Breakfast in the pretty village of Alderholt has pleasure in being able to offer bed and breakfast accommodation for those who have mobility problems as, although they have stairs to the bedrooms on the first floor, a Stannah Stair Lift is fitted. The double room available has a large en-suite shower room but there is a step into the shower which has a non-slip mat and grab rails. The other double room has a private bathroom with a shower over the bath, this also has grab rails and a non-slip mat.

Leave Salisbury on A338, turn off at Fordingbridge and take B3078 to Alderholt. Merrimead is 2.5 miles from Fordingbridge on B3078.
