Springfield Touring Park is run by resident proprietors Sheila and John Clark, providing an excellent standard of facilities and a friendly atmosphere, with extensive views over the Stour Valley.
Springfield is set in 3.5 acres of mature trees and shrubs giving privacy with 45 well spaced pitches with some hard standings and water points a short distance from all pitches. We have a small play area consisting of slide, swings, baby swing and a Wendy house suitable for children up to 12 years.
Nearby is the ancient town of Wimborne Minster and within a short distance of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, all with various attractions, shops, museums, entertainment, windsurfing and many miles of safe clean beaches, several of which have won the European 'Blue Flag' award.
There is so much to see around Dorset and the surrounding area, the New Forest with its wandering ponies, National Trust properties of Kingston Lacy House and Corfe Castle. Explore the Jurassic coast and hunt for fossils at Kimmeridge Bay and Lyme Regis. Spend a day at Monkey World, the Tank Museum or take a ride on the Swanage Steam Railway.
Further afield are the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, also Portsmouth home of historic warships and naval heritage and Southampton where the great liners dock.
We also have within the area very good shopping malls, markets, car boot sales, farmers' market days and also garden centres.
